What Are Remnants?

Premium Stone, Smaller Price Tag

When we fabricate a large countertop — say, a full kitchen — the leftover pieces from the slab are called remnants. These are genuine, premium-quality stone pieces in a variety of sizes, colors, and materials.

Rather than letting beautiful stone go to waste, we make our remnants available at a fraction of the cost of a full slab. If your project is small enough to be completed from a remnant, you get the same high-quality stone and the same expert fabrication — just at a much lower price.

Same premium granite, quartz, and marble as our full slabs
Significantly lower cost than purchasing a full slab
Expert fabrication and professional installation still included
Inventory changes frequently — new pieces added regularly

Perfect For

Great Projects for Stone Remnants

Remnants are ideal for any project that doesn't require a full slab. Here are the most popular applications.

Bathroom Vanity Tops

A single-sink vanity top is one of the most common remnant projects — often completable from one piece with material to spare.

Laundry Room Counters

Upgrade your laundry room with a durable stone surface. Remnants make this luxury upgrade very affordable.

Bar Tops & Wet Bars

A home bar top or wet bar is a perfect candidate for a remnant — typically a simple rectangle cut to size.

Fireplace Surrounds

Stone remnants make stunning fireplace hearths and surrounds, adding elegance to your living space.

Outdoor Grill Surrounds

Add a stone surface around your built-in grill. Granite remnants are especially suitable for outdoor use.

Small Kitchen Sections

Adding a small peninsula, island section, or butcher-block-style prep area? A remnant may be exactly the right size.
