We use digital templating technology to ensure your countertops fit perfectly before fabrication even begins. Nothing is left to guesswork or eyeballed measurements. When our crew arrives on installation day, the countertops should fit exactly — and they do.

By Material
Installation Considerations by Material
Every stone behaves a little differently on installation day. Here's what we account for with each material — see the full granite and quartz pages for more detail.

Natural stone slabs are heavy and dense — we plan seam placement carefully on large runs and islands, and most granite benefits from periodic resealing to maintain stain resistance.

Engineered for color and pattern consistency slab to slab, quartz never needs sealing. Our crew still plans seams thoughtfully so patterns line up cleanly across runs.

One of the hardest natural stones we install — it holds up extremely well, but its hardness means seam and cutout work takes extra care and the right tooling during fabrication.

A softer, more reactive stone. We handle marble slabs carefully during transport and setting, and we talk homeowners through etching and staining expectations before installation.

A softer stone with a distinctive matte look. It's more forgiving of heat but can scratch or dent more easily, so we walk homeowners through mineral oil or beeswax care after installation.

Common Questions
Installation FAQ
How long does countertop installation take in New Hampshire?
From your first contact to installed countertops, most projects take 1–2 weeks. This breaks down as: consultation and quote (same day or next day), templating visit to your home (1–2 hours), fabrication in our shop (3–5 business days), and installation day (2–5 hours for a standard kitchen). We'll give you a specific timeline after your consultation.
Do you remove and dispose of old countertops?
Yes — removal and disposal of existing countertops is included as part of our standard installation service. Our crew handles this carefully and efficiently before installing the new surfaces. If you have an unusual removal situation (e.g., tile countertops bonded to the substrate, or plumbing that needs disconnection), let us know during the consultation and we'll factor it into your quote.
How do I get a price for countertop installation in NH?
Every project is different — pricing depends on the material, your kitchen size, edge profile, number of cutouts, and any special features like waterfall edges or extra-thick slabs. We provide free, fully itemized quotes with no obligation so you know exactly what you're getting. Call 603-736-0004 or fill out our contact form and we'll respond within one business day.
Are your installers licensed and insured?
Yes — our installation crew is fully licensed, insured, and background-checked. We carry general liability insurance and our crew has years of professional stone installation experience. You can have complete peace of mind with us working in your home.
What do I need to do to prepare for countertop installation day?
Before installation day: empty your cabinets (we need to work inside the cabinet space), remove everything from your countertops, disconnect your sink and faucet (or let us know if you need help with this), ensure clear access to the kitchen for our crew. We'll walk through exactly what to expect during our templating visit so you know what's coming.
Do you install countertops in bathrooms as well as kitchens?
Absolutely — we install countertops throughout the home. Kitchens, master bathrooms, guest bathrooms, powder rooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and outdoor kitchens. Each room has different considerations (vanity size, undermount sink requirements, etc.) and we handle all of it.
What if I'm not happy with the installation?
We don't leave until you are completely satisfied — that's our standard walkthrough at the end of every installation. If any issue arises after we've left, call us directly and we'll come back to address it. Our satisfaction guarantee isn't fine print — it's how we've built our reputation over 30+ years in New Hampshire.
